New boost for Digitale Schiene Deutschland: 230 experts added to DB infrastructure team

DB Netz AG acquires subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG • Specialists will help accelerate digital signal box and European Train Control System (ETCS) projects

Digitale Schiene Deutschland (DSD) is gaining momentum thanks to the addition of 230 new technical and planning experts. Deutsche Bahn (DB) has brought all employees of SIGNON Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG, into its infrastructure team. These specialists will further accelerate digital signal box construction and the equipping of lines with ETCS.

In recent years, SIGNON has successfully planned and supported a large number of DB projects. Since 1 April, the organisation’s engineers, software developers, planners, trainees and sales and administrative teams have seamlessly continued their work at DB Netz AG. SIGNON continues to operate under the umbrella of DB Netz AG as a wholly owned subsidiary.
