An in-depth look at the ‘Operational and Technical Objectives’ (Betrieblich-Technishes Zielbild: BTZ) of Digitale Schiene Deutschland (DSD) – which provides a solid foundation for the technological development of digital rail and a nationwide rollout. The BTZ describes the functional requirements of both operations and the technical systems required.
